6 things to expect in your first 12 weeks on Superbalance, week by week
Summary: Hormones run on cycles, not days, and the ingredients in Superbalance were studied over eight and twelve weeks for a reason. Here's the honest timeline: what the research measured at each point, what it didn't, and what I noticed along the way.
Here's all 6 👇

1. Week 1: nothing yet, and that's the point
I'm putting this first because it's the thing nobody tells you. Superbalance is built on shatavari and myo-inositol, and both were studied over eight to twelve weeks of daily use. Not eight days. If you feel something in week one, great, but the research didn't measure week one and I'm not going to pretend it did. What I did in week one was set the habit: one packet, blueberry açaí, cold water, with breakfast. The whole timeline below depends on that part being boring.

2. Weeks 2–4: what you're actually taking every day
Myo-inositol, 2,000mg, a naturally occurring sugar-like compound your cells use for insulin and hormone signaling. SRI-81 shatavari root extract, 300mg, an adaptogen with a long history in women's health and, more to the point, recent placebo-controlled trials at exactly this dose. Then rhodiola 200mg, magnesium malate 75mg, vitamin C, B6 and a little theobromine. Every amount printed. Nothing hidden in a blend.

3. Week 8: the shatavari window opens
Eight weeks is when the shatavari research was measured, and it's the one I paid attention to. In a placebo-controlled trial of 300mg SRI-81 a day, women's total sexual function scores rose 34% from baseline, satisfaction improved, and sexually related distress dropped, all versus placebo. Superbalance has 300mg. What that looked like for me was less a light switch and more that I stopped feeling like desire was something I had to go looking for.
Ademola et al., Int J Womens Health 2026: 300mg/day SRI-81 shatavari for 8 weeks improved Female Sexual Function Index total (+34% from baseline) and satisfaction, and reduced Female Sexual Distress Scale scores vs placebo.

4. Week 8: fewer of the hormone-related symptoms too
Same ingredient, same dose, different study. Over eight weeks, 300mg of SRI-81 shatavari a day cut a standard rating of hormone-related symptoms by 42.6%, with the clearest results on hot flashes, perceived stress and mood. If your version of hormonal chaos is the 3am wake-ups and the temperature swings rather than the libido side, this is the timepoint for you. For me both moved around the same week, which I'd have called a coincidence if the studies didn't line up.

5. Week 12: myo-inositol's turn
Myo-inositol works on a slower clock than the herbs. Its research was measured at twelve weeks: 2g a day improved insulin sensitivity and reproductive hormone profiles beyond folic acid alone, and in that study only the myo-inositol group saw menstrual cycles return to a regular rhythm. Superbalance has 2,000mg per packet, the studied dose. Week twelve is also where shatavari's perceived-stress effect was measured again. So if week eight is the first payoff, week twelve is where it settles.
6. Week 12 and after: the packet looks exactly like it did on day one
This is what I'm still taking every morning: myo-inositol 2,000mg, SRI-81 shatavari 300mg, rhodiola 200mg, magnesium malate 75mg, vitamin C 120mg, vitamin B6 10mg, theobromine 25mg. The doses that were studied are the doses in the packet, which is why I was willing to wait eight weeks for it. Hormones run on cycles, not days. Give it the twelve weeks the research gave it, and judge it then.
