6 things that changed in 12 weeks on Superglow
Summary: I don't have a skincare routine and I wasn't going to start one. What I'd do is drink something. Here's what twelve weeks of that looked like, week by week: the studies behind each ingredient, when they say things should change, and when they actually did.

1. Day 1: it's a drink, and it starts on the barrier from the inside
I'm not a routine guy. Face wash, sometimes moisturizer, done. Superglow fit because it's one glass with breakfast and there's nothing on your face afterward. Day one, nothing visible happens, and I'd distrust anyone who says it does. What's going on is under the surface: 120mg of hyaluronic acid, the molecule your skin already uses to hold water and run its own repair, plus 2,500mg of collagen peptides. Day one is the materials showing up. The work comes later.
2. Week 2: less tight, less dry, especially after shaving
Two weeks is the first timepoint with a clinical study behind it. Ceramosides are plant-derived ceramides, the fats that make up your skin's moisture barrier, the thing a razor strips every morning. In a placebo-controlled trial, 30mg a day made skin measurably more hydrated and supple by week two. Superglow has exactly 30mg per packet. For me week two was when the post-shave tightness stopped lasting all morning, and I quit the aftershave balm without noticing I'd quit it.
3. Week 4: texture evens out
By week four the same study found skin smoothness becoming more pronounced, alongside a rise in the skin's own antioxidant defenses. 4. Week 8: firmer skin, and the hairline stat
Eight weeks is the Ceramosides peak for skin: hydration, firmness and the appearance of lines all hit their best result versus placebo. In a separate trial, Ceramosides moved 2.53 times more hairs out of the shedding phase and back into the growing phase than placebo at eight weeks. 5. Week 12: hair visibly fuller, and collagen finally shows up
Twelve weeks is when two things land at once. The hair study measured visibly fuller, stronger hair at week twelve. And collagen, the slowest ingredient in the packet, hits its key timepoint: a 2023 review of the trials found hydrolyzed collagen consistently improves skin hydration and elasticity versus placebo at twelve weeks, bovine collagen included. Elasticity is the thing that makes a face look tired or not. Twelve weeks was when the guy in the mirror stopped looking like he'd been up all night.
6. The whole time: one glass, zero routine, every dose printed
Here's what I took every day for twelve weeks, and still do: collagen peptides 2,500mg, hyaluronic acid 120mg, vitamin C 100mg, Ceramosides 30mg, biotin 45mcg, coconut water powder for electrolytes. Every amount on the label, third-party tested, zero sugar. It replaced a moisturizer, a serum I used twice, and a hair supplement with a blend I couldn't read. Contains wheat (that's where the ceramides come from), gluten-free, tested under 5ppm. Strawberry kiwi, cold water, done.
