6 things that changed in my first 12 weeks on Superglow, in order
Summary: Skin supplements get judged in the mirror after a week, which is exactly the wrong timepoint. The ingredients in Superglow were studied at two, four, eight and twelve weeks, and each one showed up on schedule. Here's the timeline, with the studies and what I actually saw.

1. Day 1: the hydration support starts from the inside
Day one on Superglow you won't see anything in the mirror, and I'd be suspicious of anyone who says otherwise. What's happening is underneath. Each packet has 120mg of hyaluronic acid and 2,500mg of collagen peptides. Hyaluronic acid is the molecule your skin already uses to hold water and run its own repair processes; taking it orally supports that from the inside rather than sitting on top. Think of day one as the delivery arriving, not the renovation finishing.
2. Week 2: skin feels more hydrated and more supple
Two weeks is the first timepoint with a study behind it, and it's the one that sold me. Ceramosides are plant-derived ceramides, the lipids that make up your skin's moisture barrier, and in a placebo-controlled trial 30mg a day made skin measurably more hydrated and supple by week two. Superglow has 30mg per packet. Not a proprietary blend that might contain 30mg. The studied dose, printed on the label. My cheeks were the first place I noticed it: less tight by the end of the day.
3. Week 4: smoother, with the antioxidant side kicking in
By week four the same Ceramosides study found skin smoothness becoming more pronounced, alongside a rise in the skin's own antioxidant defenses. Vitamin C is part of that story too: at 100mg a day, exactly what's in a packet, four weeks of supplementation supported skin antioxidant status in its own study. Practically, week four was when foundation started going on evenly and I stopped reaching for the blurring primer. Texture, not glow yet. The glow is a week-eight thing.
4. Week 8: peak firmness, and the lines look softer
Eight weeks is the Ceramosides peak. In the trial, hydration, firmness and the appearance of wrinkles all hit their best improvement at week eight versus placebo. This is the week people mean when they say something's working: the light sits differently on your face, the fine lines around the eyes and mouth look less etched, and you get the first unprompted comment. Mine was from my sister, who asked what I'd changed. Nothing, except the drink.
5. Weeks 8–12: hair, the one I didn't buy it for
I bought Superglow for skin. The hair surprised me. It turns out Ceramosides have their own hair study: at eight weeks, 2.53 times more hairs had moved out of the shedding phase and back into the growing phase compared with placebo, and by twelve weeks hair looked visibly fuller and stronger. The brush is where I saw it first, less in the bristles every morning, and then the part in photos started looking narrower again. The biotin gets the credit on most labels. Here it's the ceramides.
6. Week 12: collagen's key timepoint, and the whole packet, printed
Collagen runs on the slowest clock in the packet. A 2023 review of the trials landed on twelve weeks as the point where hydrolyzed collagen consistently improves skin hydration and elasticity versus placebo, and confirmed bovine collagen, which is what's in Superglow, holds up. So week twelve is when everything's arrived: 2,500mg collagen peptides, 120mg hyaluronic acid, 100mg vitamin C, 30mg Ceramosides, 45mcg biotin, coconut water for the electrolytes. Every dose on the label. Contains wheat, gluten-free, tested under 5ppm.
